To donate a service simply go to our message board (we apologise for the banner ads, but we're on a tight budget) and write down what you wish to doante e.g. if you're an accountant you can offer to do someone's taxes for them. Once you have offered the service we will put it up for bidding and offer it to the person willing to pay the most for it. That way you don't have to have a lot of money to help us.
DONATE BOOKS
Buying key books on our wish list (from December 2005) will allow writers in Ghana to visit a walk-in centre at the Ghana Association of Writers at Roman Ridge, Accra and use the resources.
BUY "SHORTER"
Nii Ayikwei Parkes, Ghanaian writer, former Writer-In-Residence at the Poetry Cafe (2003) and Associate Writer-In-Residence on BBC Radio 3 (2005) has compiled a book of poems written between the ages of 13 and 31 specially to raise money for this fund. All profits from the sale of the book go towards the Writers' Fund. The book can only be bought on this site or at one of Nii's performances.
